AED Recycling Program

Welcome to AED Market's Recycling Program! We're committed to protecting the environment and offer free recycling for your used AED batteries and devices. Simply send us your expired items, and we'll handle the recycling – you just cover the shipping. Don’t forget to order replacement batteries and AEDs to stay rescue-ready. Join us in reducing waste and keeping your AEDs operational!

Why Should I Recycle?

According to the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), batteries contain heavy metals such as mercury, lead, cadmium, and nickel, which can contaminate the environment if not disposed of correctly. When incinerated, certain metals might be released into the air, contributing to pollution. Recycling batteries and AED devices keeps these hazardous materials out of landfills and the atmosphere.

How To Recycle My AED Battery and Device?

AED Market will take care of recycling your AED batteries and devices! Just ship your expired batteries and devices to us, and we will handle the rest. The service is FREE; you only pay the shipping cost for your used items.

Shipping Instructions

  • If possible, fully discharge batteries before shipping.
  • Ship only one battery per box.
  • If you need to ship more than one per box, package the batteries so they do not make contact with each other during shipping.
  • Please send your items to our address: 318 Seaboard Lane, Suite 310 Franklin, Tennessee 37067

Additional Steps

Before you ship out your old battery or device, make sure to order a replacement so your AED remains rescue-ready. We recommend inspecting your AED regularly and checking your device monthly to ensure the pads and batteries have not expired.
